Caffeine Addiction Awareness Month

Two of the most popular herbs in America--if not the world--are coffee and black tea. both contain varying amounts of caffeine, a stimulant with measurable affects on our bodies. Used prudently, 1-2 cups of either one per day not only keps bodily functions working well, but can also stave off many diseases. 4+ cups of "flavored" coffees or the addition of sugar and cream make these drinks unhealthy and that amount of caffeine becomes detrimental. ALL things in moderation. If you are already addicted to your cuppa joe, try cutting back 1/4 cup or less per WEEK- until you are down to 3 cups or less per day of coffee and 5 cups or less of tea. Do it slowly so as not not to stress yourself or your body.
