We all know breakfast is the most important meal--the one that should not be missed--and the one we all hurry through. Keep it simple and healthy. Oatmeal is an herbal food in itself, but adding cinnamon, apples (with skins) and raisins turn it into a blood sugar balancing meal that will last until lunch. Eggs and whole wheat toast and fruit are good too. I never make an egg without adding herbs and usually, butter on toast has herbs infused too. Quick breakfast bars can never replace a hot breakfast as the heat and time to consume it builds inner digestive/circulatory strength--and starts your day off right.
